Thank you for being here. I am a radiation oncology, cancer specialist in my 34th year of private practice in Jasper, Indiana and a classic, workaholic baby-boomer born in 1956. I have devoted my life to caring for cancer patients and strive to create a home-like environment for my patients to heal.
I was truly inspired to write my first book, Bad Love Strikes, it was my first novel! I started writing in mid-January 2019 and finished this work exactly 3 months later. The story came to life in such an organic way by combining my childhood memories with my love of history and time travel.
The Bad Love Book Series is rich in actual history uniquely blended with the adventures of time-traveling, 1970s teenagers and laced with the unforgettable music of the 1960s and 1970s. These books offer hope and inspiration to a world filled with new challenges.

Dr. Schewe proudly co-chaired an amazing celebration known as National Cancer Survivor's Day the first Sunday of June for two almost decades. Every year he wrote a skit that he and the local doctors performed for the Survivor’s Day crowd. The skit always has a musical theme from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, or one of various Hollywood venues. The doctors were dressed in costumes for their parts and ask questions or pose dilemmas to each other. The answers to those questions or dilemmas are clips from songs, which the doctors lip synced and danced to in front of the crowd. There was always a dance contest in the middle of the skit and everyone came together and danced at the end of the skit. It was always great fun and an uplifting celebration of survival for the cancer patients, their families, and loved ones!
Bad Love Medicine is Dr. Schewe’s fourth novel in the Bad Love Series. His highly-rated first three novels Bad Love Strikes, Bad Love Tigers, and Bad Love Beyond were released from September 2019 to November 2020, and have been Amazon bestsellers. Follow Dr. Schewe on Instagram @realkevinschewe.
